Are you an experienced and detail-oriented logistics professional ready to take on a new challenge? We're looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic operations team in the fast-paced satellite communications industry. This is a new position, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. As a key player in the logistics team, you will ensure the seamless and timely delivery of goods, manage warehouse operations, oversee purchase orders and invoicing, and report directly to the Head of Logistics and CAT.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and Oversee Logistics: Manage the entire logistics and supply chain process, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
  • Inventory Management: Keep accurate stock records and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and transport companies to ensure on-time and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiency-boosting solutions.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive logistics documentation, including shipping forms, import/export compliance, and customs declarations.
  • Operational Precision: Handle purchase orders, invoicing, and warehouse operations with attention to detail and accuracy.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a strong background in the shipping industry and import/export compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) is a plus, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in both English and Norwegian (Norwegian language proficiency is required).
  • Multitasking Abilities: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Collaboration: A team player with a collaborative mindset, eager to work with others to achieve common goals.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of logistics regulations, including import/export compliance, customs documentation, and experience with Export Control, Dangerous Goods, and Letters of Credit is highly valued.
