As a Development Chef, you will be a key part of the F&B team, responsible for evolving and refining our culinary offerings to ensure exceptional quality, consistency, and guest experience. Working from a dedicated development kitchen in Grenzach, Germany, you will play a pivotal role in researching, testing, and implementing new recipes and products, while also engaging directly with onboard operations.
✅ Key Responsibilities
✔ Culinary Innovation: Develop new recipes and dishes that align with our overall culinary strategy.
✔ Product & Equipment Testing: Conduct tastings, product evaluations, and equipment assessments to ensure operational feasibility and excellence.
✔ Industry Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing teams, industry partners, and stakeholders to source and review ingredients and equipment.
✔ Onboard Engagement: Visit vessels regularly to gain insights into operations, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
✔ Training & Documentation: Assist in creating engaging training materials, including recipe videos and dish presentations.
✔ Event Coordination: Organize tastings, workshops, and events to showcase new culinary concepts.
✔ Operational Oversight: Ensure compliance with all regulations, manage the development kitchen efficiently, and support special projects as needed.

✔ Strong passion for culinary arts, food trends, and product innovation.

✔ Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
✔ Comfortable engaging with senior executives and hosting tastings or workshops.

✔ Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
